комментарии Reintroduced in 1880 and from 1901 and 1907. Well established and abundant along East coast of South Island, limited number in west of South I., and rare in North I. Range is expanding (Ref. 52336). Regarded as an excellent species and a significant addition to New Zealand fauna (Ref. 6452). Population in the South Island of New Zealand originated from Chinook eggs shipped between 1900 and 1906 from Battle Creek Hatchery in Sacramento River (Ref. 76986).     Ref:  McDowall, R.M., 1984
